Description Formally Opened in May 2008 by former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and Former First Minister Dr Rev Ian Paisley, this project consisted of the renovation of the derelict Oldbridge House and Stables Building, construction of a new District Energy Centre, Restaurant and Audio Visual Theatre. Specialist engineering services consisted of biomass boiler serving the energy centre, discrete distribution of the engineering services within the internal listed Oldbridge House serving the interactive model representation of the Battle of the Boyne Battlefield, the lighting scheme for the models and artifacts etc. The project also included the site lighting for the 1.5km entrance drive way, newly formed carpark and the various building complexes in the development.
