Dublin, Ireland

- present, 2007

The Office of Public Works, a state agency of the Department of Finance, is a service organization that focuses on Estate Portfolio Management encompassing Heritage Services and Flood Risk Management. Their main responsibility within the Estate Portfolio Management branch includes ownership, maintenance and conservation of historical buildings in Ireland.

Following on from the energy improvement works in the Garda premises, Axiseng was commissioned by the Office of Public Works to tender and implement a series of energy efficiency solutions in a number of buildings in the Four Courts Complex as part of the Framework Agreement.

The energy improvement works included the installation of variable speed drives, replacement pumps, upgrades to BMS systems, time scheduling of mechanical plant, new meters on sub-circuits, new energy efficient luminaires and lighting controls and the installation of insulation.

The Frameworks Agreement included the following projects:

  • Four Courts Building
  • Public Records Office
  • Áras Uí Dhálaigh
  • Land Registry Building

All of the projects were inspected by SEI and full grant aid awarded.
